My husband and I are going furniture shopping tomorrow and I am beyond excited!  When we first moved, we bought a futon.  This just doesn’t work for me.  We would have had a used set from my mother-in-law, but the puppers literally chewed it to pieces.  Sure the futon was fine when we were in college, but now that we’re older we’re ready for real furniture.  Not to mention more comfy furniture too!  I thought I would share my living room idea with you.

I really like this color palette because I feel it has the ability to be very versatile.  You can paint your walls cream or grey and use all the other colors as accents.  Or you can be bold and paint your walls navy blue or pea green and use the yellow, grey, and cream as accents.  It’s totally up to you and that is what I love about this palette.

I’m not saying that this is exactly what I want to do.  I’ll probably change my mind tomorrow.  The one thing that I am sure about is the grey couch.  I don’t want black or brown because I think it darkens the room and I really don’t want that.  I’ll be sure to post pictures of what we choose!
